Unified Groups (that’s the internal/technical name for Office 365 Groups) are a great way to group together different Office 365 features and handle their security.
Office 365 Groups started as a feature in Exchange. They were originally called Unified Groups – kind of what you could see as simply glorified mailing lists. For more of the historical view on the groups, see, for example, this comprehensive article by IT Pro Today. Groups nowadays are so much more than that, but it’s useful to understand their background.
This category contains all of my articles, that are related to Office Groups in some way.
